My foundation is my family. I grew up in a large and loving French Canadian family where we always gathered around delicious homemade meals\u2026 \u201cmade with love\u201d as my mother always says.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As a young actress I realized my body was my \u201ctool\u201d and my health had the potential to impact the whole production crew for better or worse. So I learned how to make herbal preparations of garlic, ginger, lemon, and honey to strengthen my immune system when rehearsing long hours for a show. Breathing techniques and movement were part of my acting training in order to keep the body strong and supple, and the mind sharp. Discipline was instilled in me and shall remain for as long as I live.<\/span><\/p>\n In May 2004, my appendix was removed 2 days prior to the final exams in my 1st year in training, acrobatics was part of my evaluations as I was bedridden. Even if nobody got mad at me or my appendix for ruining the last 4 months of rehearsals we all worked so hard on,\u00a0 still everyone had to quickly deal with the sudden \u201cmissing
